Board PositionBoard Member Bio
President: Ty SonagereTy is a passionate and strategic data professional. After serving in various leadership roles in the hedge fund world for a decade, the last 6 years Ty has focused on data governance and data quality.  Ty earned an MBA in Finance, has grown 3 data governance programs, of varying success, from the ground up, serves President of the Buckeye Chapter of DAMA and is a co-author of the Smart Columbus data management plan. Ty lives in Columbus, Ohio.
  
VP of Administration/Secretary: Katie SchraderKatie Schrader graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Public Affairs Journalism.  She completed her MBA with a focus on Finance at Capital University after discovering her passion for working with data while working at a healthcare IT company.  She currently leads an analytics team as the Senior Manager of Enterprise Intelligence at CoverMyMeds.  She built her career there across various business units including account management, finance and analytics supporting our pharmaceutical clients.  In her spare time, she enjoys traveling the world with her husband Vinnie and spending as much time as possible with her dogs, Zeke and Cooper.
VP of Membership:Alan BondAlan’s role at Nationwide Insurance is Systems Architect for Nationwide Investments, supporting data management, packaged applications, and custom applications.  He has been with Nationwide for 18 years, in the Architect profession for 8 years and in his current role about 5 years.
 
VP of Programs: John SarsfieldJohn is a senior data scientist and data engineer with extensive experience in developing and implementing database technologies to Insurance, banking, marketing, and sales businesses and applying those technologies for data analysis, process improvement, and insights. He has worked in Fortune 500 as well as small companies. John has also been involved with the central Ohio chapter of DAMA as an inaugural member and then serving as a board member as VP of Communications and VP of Programs. John lives in Mount Vernon with his wife, three children, and two dogs in a pre-Civil War home under constant renovation.
VP of Finance/Treasurer: Tony SimpkinsTony has worked with Data and Information for over 20 years and is currently a Data Management Lead at Grange Insurance.  He also has served Buckeye DAMA’s board of directors since 2008.  Tony holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and an Associate’s degree in Computer Sciences.  He is lives in Columbus with his wife Susie and their two dogs.  In his free time, he attends board gaming conventions.
VP of Recruitment and Onboarding: Mark PlessingerMark Plessinger is the president of INKU which is a data governance and data management consulting firm in Columbus, Ohio. He has over 20 years of business and IT experience with the last 10 focused on the business side of  data governance and data management. Mark honed his skills at IBM and Cardinal Health before moving into consulting in 2013. His expertise includes defining and implementing new governance practices as well as revitalizing governance organizations that have stagnated or failed previously.​ He lives in Clintonville with his wife and four cats. Mark teaches spinning and works in his yard during his free time.​
VP of Marketing/Communications: Kim ReidingerWith experience in retail, credit and healthcare industries, Kim is passionate about data analytics and strategy. She has several years’ experience in marketing analytics, customer behavior analysis, SQL development, profiling and assessing data quality, and most recently, facilitating a Data Governance program. In addition to her professional aspirations, Kim also promotes animal welfare in her community and volunteers on weekends at her local animal shelter. She lives in Westerville, Ohio with her husband and her two rescue dogs, Smuckers and Chai.
VP of Education: Christina HsuChristina is a business intelligence and data management specialist.  Her experience spans multiple industries including banking, aviation, insurance, manufacturing, and utilities.  Her areas of expertise include data integration, data governance, data analysis, and project management.  Christina holds both certifications in CBIP and CDMP, and is serving the board as VP of Education.
